  1. pandacan is not a language.. its a place in manila, philippines where the vernacular is tagalog or filipino. and ‘syota na kita’ translates to ‘you are my girlfriend’ a blog lacking in research.

  2. In Thai, ‘Chan rak khun’ indicates the speaker is female, while ‘Phom rak khun’ indicates a male speaker. In both cases, the person spoken to could be male or female. To complicate matters further, transgendered people often use the pronoun for the gender with which they identify.

  3. Thanks “real irish person” for Irish “ta me or bim i ngra leat”
Ardens for in Ukrainian “Ya tebe kohayu”
Montagnais for “Tshe menuateten” or “Tshe shuenimiten”
Frida for Thai ‘Chan rak khun’ ‘Phom rak khun’
    Technokid for Portuguese “Eu amo-te”

    Dear all I love you

  4. Thank you for this blog. It’s so romantic to tell my sweetheart I love him in a new language every morning and reward him with a chocolate kiss each evening he comes home with the correct guess of which tongue I spoke to him in. Gotta keep things new to rekindle in that Honeymoon stage feeling. And thanks to everyone who offered corrections to the list but most of all thanks to the romantic person who made this blog in the first place. Sweet.
