Choose categories or have Google target your site content, and decide which categories you want to exclude. … Bring users to your site more often and keep them there longer with highly revelant, frequently refreshed video from popular content providers.

Looks like you can’t have ads if you display your own video.

The player for ads enabled video can also be customized to suit the website theme and layout.

Japanese researchers have produced see-through frog for research purposes.

The photo of the frog in the left was released from Hiroshima University professor Masayuki Sumida showing a see-through frog with visible organs, blood vessels and eggs under the skin. Sumida’s team has created the first transparent four-legged creature, although some small fish are also see-through.(AFP/HO/File)

These frogs can be used to observe organs, blood vessels and eggs under the skin without performing dissections. The lead researcher Masayuki Sumida, professor at the Institute for Amphibian Biology of state-run Hiroshima University told: “You can watch organs of the same frog over its entire life as you don’t have to dissect it. The researcher can also observe how toxins affect bones, livers and other organs at lower costs.” (Yahoo news)

Governments in developed world are worried about overweight kids and are proposing different measures to make them healthy. What about the overweight baby at birth?

A Siberian mother, Tatyana Barabanova, 43, gave birth to her 12th child Nadia on September 17 who weighed a massive 7.75 kg (17.1 lb) at birth. Nadia’s weight is way higher than the World Health Organisation’s data of the average weight for most healthy newborn babies which is around 3.2 kg (7.06 lb). It seems it is in her genes as all her previous 11 babies had weighed more than 5 kg.

The mother was quoted as saying she didn’t eat any special foods. All she ate in her pregenancy were potatoes, noodles and tomatoes.

But, it is not a new record though. The Guinness World Records lists a 10.2 kg baby boy born in Italy in 1955, and a 10.8 kg baby boy who was born in the United States in 1879 but died 11 hours later. (news link)

People love setting new records. Some set records for fun and others for business. This massive hoarding board measuring 20,000 square meters: equivalent to the size of three football pitches is to be installed in fields near Heathrow Airport.

You sure won’t see it when you drive there. The but the entrepreneur Paul Jenkins and his company, Ad Air. Advertisers say that the people from outer space will be able to see the ads (and buy your products!) if you have something to offer them. Actually the board will be targeted to the air passenger (window side only, poor aisle passengers) who will be able able to see the ads for a mere 20 seconds.

I guess, the government should make sure that the ads are not too much interesting. If they are really interesting and people love to see it, they might risk the plane to topple as everybody might crowd towards the window! (well, that is only my wild guess!

It is another story that Ad Air. Advertisers will have to pay about £500,000 a year for each of the three poster sites near Heathrow, which is used by 67 million air passengers a year. (via | news)

A teenage boy, Andrei, 15, somehow survived a two-hour flight on the wing of a Boeing 737. He was only discovered when the plane landed in Moscow in a very severe frost bitten condition.

Investigators are amazed that Andrei survived the journey in temperatures as low as minus-50 degrees Celsius - and speeds of up to 900kmh.

At the end of the 1,300km journey, rescuers at Vnukova airport were initially unable to take off his coat and shoes because his arms and legs were so badly frozen.

It was suggested that he ran away from home after an argument with his parents, first to see his grandmother in a neighbouring village.

He then hitched a 220km lift to Perm, where he was let out at the airport and somehow got onto the plane wing.

Moscow’s air and water transport control department confirmed radio reports about the boy’s bizarre journey were true.(metro.co.uk)

When you create a new record you are recognized and rewarded.

But this record holder is different. He has beaten a previous British record of driving at 156mph (and being caught) set by a car dealer Jason McAllister in 2003.

The new record holder is Tim Brady, a car rental worker, who was caught on Jan. 27 for driving at 172 mph in his company’s Porsche. The reward - awarded on Monday was 10 weeks in jail!

He was also banned from driving for three years and will have to take a new driving test before taking to the road again. (source)

But this crossword puzzle fan’s marriage proposal was written in a puzzle titled “Popping the question” in the latest issue of in a The Boston Globe Sunday magazine. Egmont, 29, of Cambridge, persuaded the magazine this summer to write the special puzzle for him.

“We get to the `Will you marry me?’ clue, and I said, `Will you marry me, Jenny?’ I got up, got the ring, and got down on one knee and she screamed, and hugged me. It took her a minute to say yes,” Egmont told the Globe.

A Puerto Rican racehorse has set a new record and it is not about winning but a losing record. The wednesday’s loss got her $12,971 by beating the losing record of 0-124 set by Australian racehorse Ouroene, who raced from 1976-83.

Dona Chepa, a 9-year-old brown mare, finished last in a six-horse field at Camarero Racetrack in eastern Puerto Rico on Wednesday, a 125th consecutive loss that is believed to be the longest in horse racing history.

Losing can also be rewarding sometimes!!

“Sweetie” and “Prince of Joy” in an online chatroom, spent hours telling each other about how they dislike their spouses. They were in love and went in a date only to realize that they had already met and in fact they were living together.

When the electoral official of Venezuela found two Venezuelans with name “Superman” registered to vote, they decided that people are not capable of naming their children decently.

The National Electoral Council had proposed banning “names that expose (children) to ridicule, are extravagant or difficult to pronounce” or raise doubts about whether a child is a girl or a boy.(cbs news)

It also proposed to provide a list of valid traditional names for parents to choose from for their newborn. If it were passed naming a child would not be that much exciting!

Thanks god, after child protection official’s warning that it will people’s right of liberty, Venezuelan officials withdrew the proposal.

There was a news about a kid from New Zealand being named “Superman” when he was declined to be named “4real”. And one Chinese couple wanted to name their child very uniquely- “@” (source).
